Henry Kneiszel & See More Perspective

FREE EVENT! Poetry, Music, & Open Mic. As part of a new work showcase writers Henry Kneiszel and SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE will create a unique performance that blends poetry, music, and sound to explore themes related to the changing internet landscape, finding beauty in a strange world, wikipedia, and bugs. Poets will read original work with sound and music woven in for texture. Henry is also a comedian and SEE MORE is also a hip hop artist and music producer. These influences shine through into the poetry and the result is a multidisciplinary show that is both experimental and accessible.

See More Perspective is a Xicane interdisciplinary multimedia Hip Hop artist, Spoken Word poet, visual artist, music producer, and filmmaker. Their work is rooted-in and informed-by waves of Indigenous Mexican American art and activism, storytelling, and the Four Elements of Hip Hop. They grew up in the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in Minnesota, with regular visits to Chihuahua, México, visiting a houseful of tías. See More lived in Chicago for a number of years where they integrated Spoken Word Poetry, Hip Hop, education, and community organizing in their formative years as a professional artist. See has since returned to Saint Paul, their home and base of operations for work that brings them all over the state and around the country as an artist, educator, filmmaker and performer. Most recently, See More performed on the main stage at the flagship No Kings Rally in front of 150,000 people with their new duo Secret Rivers.
