Ruby Rain “In the Palm of Her Hand”

“A Touching Experience” – final and fifth part of “In the Palm of Her Hand”, a shamanic storytelling exploration of the five senses as doorways into memory, imagination, intuition and soul. Ruby Rain – clown, storyteller, multi-media artist and X-rabbi – invites audience participation into sparking a more curious relationship with their own bodily awareness. Through story, symbol, guided sensory exploration and delicious moments of shared reflection, Ruby creates a space where people can take in the magic we often miss – through taste, touch, sound, image, instinct, memory and mystery.

Artist Bio: An excommunicated rabbi outlawed in six states and several foreign cities. Ruby has studied with Indigenous shamans from Spain, Mexico, West Africa, Australia, and North America, as well as several non-Indigenous shamans from Massachusetts to California. She pioneered the use of marijuana in the Passover seder. And once got into a bar fight in Buffalo.
